BSILI—Leadership for Curricular and Institutional Transformation

June 12-17, 2016

 

Join with educators from your campus, district, or region, who are interested in developing leadership to support an initiative related to one of the following:

  • Scaling a high impact student success initiative

In addition to the summer institute in Lake Arrowhead, participants will:

  • Participate in a year-long Community of Practice designed to strengthen and leverage their home organization’s student success initiatives as well as support ongoing professional development activities in their regions.
  • Attend a post-conference session at the Strengthening Student Success Conference at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, Garden Grove, CA, October 5-7, 2016 (team registration for the post-conference session will be sponsored by 3CSN)
  • Participate in follow-up conference calls during Summer 2016 and Academic Year 2016-17 (dates and times TBA)
  • Be eligible for sponsored participation in additional professional learning opportunities such as: RP Group’s Leading from the Middle Initiative, 3CSN’s Reading Apprenticeship Project, Tutoring Expo, Habits of Mind Leadership Community of Practice, Growth Mindset Training, and Threshold Project.

 

 

BSILI 2014 groups workingBeginning with their participation in BSILI, teams will receive a year-long, wrap-around support package consisting of inclusion in one or more of 3CSN’s Communities of Practice, ongoing coaching and technical assistance, and other resources that will help the team contribute to increased student completion and success.
