SSSP, BSI, and Equity: Integrating & Transforming for Student Success for FIER (9/8/17) – Fullerton College

Description

Colleges’ Integrated Plans are due to the Chancellor’s Office at the end of this semester, so to help colleges as they finish their Integrated Plans, we want to get together to review those plans and be ready to submit them for approval. Come join us for a hands-on session that will cover

  • completing Plan requirements,
  • preparing for Board approval,
  • learning more about designing outcomes and data analysis, and
  • aligning Integrated plans with college and district strategic & master plans. 

We are encouraging you to bring a team of faculty, staff, and administrators from your college. Please include your college planning leaders, Counselors, SLO and Assessment Coordinators, SSSP & Equity Committee Members, Institutional Researchers, BSI leaders, and other people from across the campus who are key to your integration efforts.

Please bring a current draft of your 2017-19 Integrated Plan as well as the key college strategic/educational master plan goals related to student access, success, equity, and completion. We also ask that you bring a laptop or tablet if possible.

Please join us for our Integrated Planning Retreat. We are encouraging you to bring a team of 5-7 faculty, staff, and administrators from your college. Please include your college planning leaders, LACP implementers,  Counselors, SLO Coordinators, SSSP & Equity Committee Members, Institutional Researchers, BSI leaders, and other people from across the campus who are key to your Integration efforts.

This will be a hands on working session to

Central Valley BSI Kick-off Event — Merced College (9/23/16)

Calling all BSI coordinators and educators connected to Student Equity, SSSP, and the Basic Skills Transformation grant! This event will be an opportunity to discuss the current state of the Basic Skills Initiative and efforts to integrate the various grant funding streams.

Engage in dialog with colleagues across campuses and use planning tools to further the ideas and activities at your own campus. Learn about professional learning opportunities supported by 3CSN to advance the growth of your campus efforts.

Parking information: This facility is located in downtown Merced. There is a parking garage on the East side of the building.  It is free and there is no time limit.  There is also parking on 19th Street in front of the building and a few across the street.
