3CSN invites you to a free all-day Learning in Networks for Knowledge Sharing (LINKS) workshop at Shasta College on Friday, Feb. 1; LINKS is an investigation into the factors affecting student completion and an exploration of interventions that can be used in classroom & student service areas. This workshop will highlight principles and practices related to Habits of Mind, Reading Apprenticeship (RA) and Acceleration. The presentation will include a brief overview of 3CSN and its mission, hands-on demonstrations of and practice with effective classroom routines related to Habits of Mind and Reading Apprenticeship, and a look community college initiatives involving Acceleration. The workshop will offer ideas and talking points for community college faculty working in programs and disciplines across campus.
